Varsity Wrestling: State Individuals Runner-Up

Coach Merry had this to say about the team. “Overall, I felt we had a great season and performance in this tournament. A lot of teams and polls had us down because of the number of seniors we graduated last season, but our kids worked hard all year long to earn the respect of others and achieve their individual goals. Having five wrestlers in the Individual State Finals is very uncommon, and I was super excited for our young team. Unfortunately, a few wrestlers came short of their individual goals, but luckily, our two seniors who qualified finished on top! We are excited for next year as everyone else is returning to try and achieve their ultimate goal of winning a state title.”
